About Us

The Sullivan Municipal Golf Course is the premiere golf bargain in all of south central Missouri, boasting great prices along with the region’s best golf experience. The course originally opened as a 9-hole private club in 1954. In 1991 the club was expanded to 18-holes. The course was purchased by the City of Sullivan in Dec.2018 and now operates as a Public Golf Course.

Located just 50 minutes west of St. Louis on Interstate 44, the course is the pride of the Sullivan golf community. The real star of the show at Sullivan Municipal Golf Course is the classic golf design featured on each of these 18 holes.

The course boasts a challenging 6,174-yard layout with Bermuda fairways and undulated greens that roll as true as any in the world. Visitors to Sullivan Municipal Golf Course will discover a tee time journey that takes them through winding creeks and tree-lined fairways, creating an enjoyable challenge for players of all ages and skill levels.

The course is carefully woven into the natural rural Missouri landscape, enhanced by the meticulous work of our grounds crew.

Jenna Apple - Manager

At Walters Golf Management, our team brings experience from across the country—and a shared commitment to the people we serve every day.

Meet Jenna Apple, PGA, from our Sullivan Golf Course.

With over eight years in the golf industry, Jenna’s path has taken her from private clubs on the East Coast to multiple states across the country before joining Walters in 2025. Since stepping into her role at Sullivan, she’s brought that experience and perspective into a position centered around daily impact.

For Jenna, it’s simple: the opportunity to positively connect with and influence more than 200 people each day is what makes the work meaningful.

When she’s not at the course, you’ll find her spending time with family or working on her new home—often with her French bulldog, Sulley, close by. A competitive edge still shows through as well, with a hole-in-one, an albatross, and a growing collection of more than 15 putters.

We’re proud to have Jenna as part of the Walters team and the continued experience she brings to Sullivan.
